B-WISER Science Camp is a 501c3 non-profit institute operating under The College of Wooster since the camp began in 1990. Donations to B-WISER are paid to the college but designated for B-WISER. Please note that 100% of your donation goes directly to B-WISER’s budget and is tax-deductible. You will receive an automated email confirming your donation, as well as a thank you letter from B-WISER. If you do not receive a letter, please contact the Project Coordinator, Manon Grugel-Watson.
We aim to be an affordable opportunity for any young woman interested in the sciences. Gifts are an essential part of our annual camp budget, helping to cover all sorts of program costs including staff, instructors, speakers & presenters, laboratory supplies, classroom supplies, and scholarship funds. With rising costs, the need for private donations is greater than ever. The generous support of previous camp alumnae, camper parents, community members, and foundations allow us to keep camp fees down while still providing a high-quality, hands-on learning experience to the next generation of women in science.
